You are all awesome!!!!

Congratulations!  I’ll be in touch soon to arrange shipment of your prize.

Come and help me celebrate! #Giveaway #TidalWhispers

Surprise!  There’s no Meet the Author today due to my own very exciting event coming up on Monday.

Are you ready for it?

Are you all a-twitter like me?

Okay, deep breath, here it goes …

Tidal Whispers will finally be released!  Yippee!

I set aside today to start the celebration a little early.  Yes, I know, I have no patience.  Tell me about it.  But seriously, this one has been brewing for a while, and I’m excited for everyone to read this little story of mine along with the other fantastic entries within the pages.  It’s unlike anything I’ve written before and probably never will again.

It’s quirky, like me, and stretched my imagination to get it out.  I like to challenge myself, to help myself grow, and this one certainly put me to the test.

I’m so honored to be among such excellent authors as Claire Gillian, Julie Reece and Kelly Said.  Brilliant story tellers, they are.  Poetic and entertaining.  Often when I pick up an anthology there are usually a few stories that are either poorly written or have me scratching my head, but that’s so opposite of this one.

I loved every single story inside, and I hope you will, too.  All spectacularly written, with great emotion, intrigue and worlds that will suck you inside and captivate you until the final word.

Want your own eBook copy for your very own?

You do?  Awesome!

How do I win?

I’d love to know what’s the first book you remember reading.  It can be a childhood book or the first novel as an adult, but I’d like to know what book touched you first and began your love of reading. If you can’t think of one, just stop by to say hi.

Anyone who leaves a comment between now and Sunday night to help me celebrate will be eligible to win.  I’ll choose a winner using random.org and post the winner on Monday.  Please remember to leave me a way to reach you if you should win.

Are you ready?

Okay, let’s play!

{Giveaway} Shadowborn Print Goodies and Teaser #Shadowborn #LilaGray

There are 137 days left until Shadowborn is unleashed.  Not that I’m counting or anything.

Can you believe it?  It sounds like a long time, but it’s really not.

Are you ready?  Because I’m not!  Seriously.

Yikes, this was a hard book to write.  Okay, so my beta readers really liked it, but I’m still feeling the pressure of producing a book that’s even better than the first.  Only time and my lovely readers will tell if I’ve managed it.

While I can’t give too much away, I will share with you these six sentences from Lila Gray’s next adventure:

Flashes of trees and fields filled my mind, all silent and still. Moonlight cast an eerie silver glow over everything. I looked down from above as if I’d hijacked the eyes of some winged creature flying overhead. A tiny movement drew me back to the edge of a forest, shadow moving within shadow.

I drew in a breath. “Bring your Light!”

Oh oh, what giant pile of crap has Lila stepped into this time?  Only four and a half months to go until you find out!  Ha!  Yes, I’m evil.  Just ask Lila if you don’t believe me.

So, I promised a giveaway today in celebration of the upcoming release, and I plan to deliver.

UP FOR GRABS

Two, yes, you heard me right, that’s (2) signed 5×7 prints of the Shadowborn cover!

AND

Two (2) signed Glass Man bookmarks (Shadowborn ones will come at a later giveaway)

I have to say, the prints of the cover look mighty fine, so fine I kept one for myself. 😉

HOW TO WIN

All you have to do to win one of these lovelies is tell me in the comments which Lila Gray world character is your favorite and why.  If you haven’t read The Glass Man yet, then just say hi.

I think mine has to be Brigh, especially in book two, and I hope you’ll love her even more when you learn more about her, too.

From those who participate, I’ll choose two commenters using random.org and post it on my blog one week from today, Wednesday May 23rd.  Once I contact the winners, they’ll have 48 hours to respond or I’ll choose a new winner of the prize – one print cover and one book mark each.

Now that all of the rigamarole is out of the way, let’s chat!

It’s a boy! – Name the Puffball Contest

I interrupt my regularly scheduled blog post today to bring you breaking news.

Our family has grown!

Our new little boy is four months old.  His older sister isn’t terribly impressed yet, but I hope she’ll warm up to him soon.

We have one little problem.  Our little boy doesn’t have a name.  So, I thought, who better to help me come up with some good ones than a bunch of authors and readers?

Anyone game?

Yeah?  Cool.

Here’s his picture:

Isn’t he cute?  He’s actually tiny, but next to WeeB he looks full grown.

Here’s another:

Here’s your task.

Drop by as many times as you like and leave name suggestions in the comments below this post.  My family will choose the best one from the list on Friday, February 3rd.  The winner will receive:

1) An ebook copy of Touch of Frost

2) A signed paperback of The Glass Man

3) A signed bookmark for The Glass Man
