What do you have to do to win?

Do you have a valentines day ritual including romance?  Or do you refuse to participate in the highly commercialized occasion?  Leave me a comment at the bottom of this post and give me your take on the subject.  Or, if you’d rather keep your opinion to yourself, just say hi!  Please include a way to reach you, email, Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, etc. (it will only be used for the purpose of sending your prize if you should win)

I’d also be grateful for a like on Facebook and a follow on Twitter, but it’s not mandatory.

On February 15th, I’ll choose a commenter using random.org, announce it on my blog and contact the winner, who will have 48 hours to respond.  If I don’t hear from them, another winner will be chosen.

Cheers, and good luck!

  1. Thanks for the giveaway.

I don’t really do anything for Valentine’s Day except on the odd occasion.
We prefer to celebrate our wedding anniversay.

I think Valentine’s is more for the younger crown.

  9. I don’t like Valentine, because you have to tell your love everyday that you love him and not only on that “special day”.

  10. I usually just hang out. (; I’ve yet to have a “special someone” to spend it with, so I just hang out with my friends, or do something nice for my parents! (:

  11. I usually don’t do anything, my boyfriend will plan something for us to do, he’s into the holiday more than I am.

  12. If I had a valentine, I would do something since it’s an established holiday and it’s nice to be recognized on that day (and through out the year), but not sweetest day.

I followed/liked on twitter and FB.

BUT this year, I have free tickets to an advance screening of Titanic 3D so I won’t be sitting in the house but probably at the cinema with my sister or my mom

  14. Even though it’s not a surprise at this point, I LOVE getting flowers on valentine’s day. It’s my favorite….
